1. Overview
This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Energrinsewipe ("we", "us", or "our") processes cancellations and refunds for workshop registrations, program enrolments, consulting sessions, and educational product purchases.
We understand that plans can change. This policy is designed to be fair to both participants and our organisation, while ensuring we can continue to deliver high-quality educational services from our Wellington studio at 2 Plimmer Steps, Wellington Central, Wellington 6011, New Zealand.
By registering for any of our services, you agree to the terms set out in this policy. Please read it carefully before completing your registration.
2. Cancellations by Participants
2.1 More Than 7 Days Before the Event
If you cancel your registration more than seven (7) calendar days before the scheduled start date of a workshop or program, you are eligible for a full refund minus a NZD $25 administrative fee. The administrative fee covers processing costs and materials preparation.
2.2 Between 3 and 7 Days Before the Event
Cancellations received between three (3) and seven (7) calendar days before the scheduled start date are eligible for a 50% refund of the registration fee. No administrative fee is deducted from partial refunds.
2.3 Less Than 3 Days Before the Event
Cancellations received less than three (3) calendar days before the scheduled start date, or non-attendance without prior notice, are not eligible for a refund. However, you may transfer your registration to another person at no additional charge, subject to Section 4 below.
2.4 Multi-Session Programs
For multi-week programs, the cancellation timeline applies to the first session date. If you withdraw after a program has commenced, refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis for remaining unused sessions, minus a NZD $25 administrative fee. No refund is available for sessions already attended.
3. Cancellations by Energrinsewipe
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule workshops and programs due to:
- Insufficient enrolment (minimum participant numbers not met)
- Facilitator illness or unavailability
- Venue unavailability or safety concerns
- Force majeure events including natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions
- Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control
If we cancel a workshop or program:
- You will receive a full refund of all fees paid, with no administrative deductions
- Alternatively, you may choose to transfer your registration to the next available date at no additional cost
- We will notify you as soon as possible, typically at least 48 hours before the scheduled event where circumstances permit
We are not liable for any additional costs you may incur due to cancellation, such as travel or accommodation expenses.
4. Registration Transfers
You may transfer your registration to another person at any time before the event start date, provided that:
- You notify us in writing at least 24 hours before the event
- The substitute participant meets any prerequisites for the program
- The transfer is approved by us in writing
Transfers between program dates (postponing your attendance to a future session) are permitted once at no charge if requested more than 7 days before the original event date. Additional date changes may incur a NZD $15 rescheduling fee.
5. Educational Products and Digital Materials
Refunds for educational products (workbooks, digital guides, and reference materials) are subject to the following conditions:
- Physical products: Unopened items in original condition may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
- Digital products: Due to the nature of digital content, refunds are not available once digital materials have been downloaded or accessed, unless the product is materially defective or differs significantly from its description.
- Bundled products: Where physical and digital materials are sold as a bundle, the refund policy for each component applies proportionally.
6. Consulting and One-to-One Sessions
For individual consulting and guidance sessions:
- Cancellations with more than 48 hours notice: Full refund or free rescheduling
- Cancellations with 24–48 hours notice: 50% refund or free rescheduling
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no-show: No refund
If we need to cancel or reschedule a consulting session, you will be offered a full refund or priority rescheduling at no additional cost.
7. Corporate and Group Bookings
Corporate and group bookings may be subject to separate contractual terms agreed in writing. Where no separate agreement exists, the following applies:
- Cancellations more than 14 days before the event: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
- Cancellations 7–14 days before: 75% refund
- Cancellations less than 7 days before: 50% refund
- Participant number reductions of up to 20% are permitted up to 7 days before the event without penalty
Custom corporate agreements supersede these standard terms where explicitly stated in the signed contract.
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a cancellation or refund, please contact us with the following information:
- Your full name and email address used during registration
- Workshop or program name and date
- Registration confirmation number (if available)
- Reason for cancellation (optional but helpful)

Refund requests are acknowledged within two business days. Please allow up to 10 business days for refund processing after approval.
9. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed using the original payment method wherever possible. Processing times vary by payment provider:
- Credit and debit card refunds: 5–10 business days
- Bank transfer refunds: 3–5 business days
- Third-party payment platform refunds: Subject to the platform's processing timeline
Refunds are issued in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). If your payment was made in a different currency, the refund amount may differ from the original charge due to exchange rate fluctuations. We are not responsible for fees charged by your bank or payment provider.
10. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable consumer protection legislation. If our services fail to meet consumer guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy beyond what is described in this policy.
If you believe a service did not meet reasonable expectations, please contact us to discuss your concerns before seeking external dispute resolution. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.
11. Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with a refund decision, please contact us to discuss the matter further. We will review your case and respond within 10 business days. If the issue cannot be resolved directly, you may refer the matter to the Disputes Tribunal of New Zealand for claims up to NZD $30,000, or seek other remedies available under New Zealand law.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply to registrations made after the updated effective date. The effective date is shown at the top of this page. Registrations made before a policy change are governed by the policy in effect at the time of registration.
